A Fairy in My Locker?

"Fascinating!" Roger couldn't believe his eyes. It didn't look like anything he had seen before. He stared into his locker endlessly, as if trying to figure out if he was hallucinating. It had human characteristics, An elf perhaps? he thought at first, but then discarded the idea as he realized the creature had a set of wings on its back.
"What are you?" Roger thought out loud. Not expecting a response.
"I'm a fairy" It answered.
Roger was in disbelieve. He didn't believe in such nonsense. The fairy noticed Roger's disbelief, so she pulled out her wand, and swung it around. Poof! A muffin appeared on top of Roger's science book. Roger had never seen something so amazing before.
Roger hurried to his next class, as was already five minutes late. He kept thinking about whether to belief in the fairy or not. He decided that at least he would give her a chance and belief.
After his next class, he returned to the locker wondering if the fairy would still be there. Sure enough, it was sitting at the top of his books.
"If you give me some juice, you'll have what you choose!" the fairy said.
"What do you need the juice for?" Roger questioned.
"Juice is considered the best medicine a fairy can have," the fairy answered, "You see my mother has been ill, and this is the only way to save her."
"Alright."
Roger scanned his lunchbox for the juice, found it, and gave it to her.
"So what is you wish?"
"I don't know, I guess I would like to shrink."
The fairy swung the wand around, and sure enough, roger shrunk to the size of a pencil. Roger's backpack was left stranded as roger headed for one of the air vents on the foot of the wall. What Roger didn't know, was that someone was watching him from a far. Someone that had the same power of seeing fairies and other magical creatures that he had. it was Mr. Magoosh.
Instantly, Mr. Magoosh ran for his jar, not just any jar, the special anti-magic jar. Mr. Magoosh returned to the hallway, opened Roger's locker, and left with the fairy inside the jar.
Not too far away, Roger wandered into the corners of Mr. Magoosh's bookshelves, and found an interesting find. It was a jar, different from all others. It had a different seal to it, and the contents of it was astonishing. It was his fairy! How did Mr. Magoosh get to it? The fairy caught his eye, and signaled him to rescue her, but the jar was too far up for his reach. If he didn't save the fairy, he would stay small for ever! He had to save her.
Roger left the back of the bookshelves and sprinted towards his best friend, Andrew. If anyone will belief me, its him.
"Andrew?" Roger whispered.
"What? Who said that?" he answered.
"Its me, Roger, by your foot."

Andrew turned to see Roger, one tenth of his regular size.
"Give me a little lift" Roger said.
Andrew lifted Roger carefully on top of his desk.
"What's going on?" Andrew asked.
"You have to save the fairy"
"Where? Wait, are you messing with me?"
"No!" Roger cried, You've gotta believe me!"
"OK, OK" Andre hesitated, "I believe you."
"Now look over there" Roger pointed towards the jar.
"Oh my god Roger. What is that!?"
"Its a fairy" Roger answered, "You have to save it."
"How? We are in the middle of–"
Andrew was interrupted my the bell.
"Quick!" Roger yelled, "Go for it!"
Andrew ran to the bookshelves, spotted the jar, turned around and saw Mr. Magoosh looking at him through his gold monocle. So close! Andrew dodged him and opened the jar. The fairy flew into the air.
"Yes!" Andrew yelled. The fairy swung the wand around and, poof! Roger grew back to his regular size. But Mr. Magoosh was on to them. While the fairy escaped, Andrew and Roger fought off Mr, Magoosh until he fell unconscious. Andrew and Roger made there way to the hallway, where everything seemed normal, but both of them knew it wasn't...

Tag Dodgeball
“Peace?” Nicholas offered, as he was aware of how helpless he was as I had threatened him until he had nowhere to escape; walls surrounded him, and I was blocking the only escape rout⎯ ball in hand ready to unleash un any movement he attempted.
“Sure,” I accepted, as I took off for my next pray. I scanned the gym for victims without a ball. Few people were standing, and most were allies or had a ball. Then I saw Camila, walking towards the opposite corner.
I ran up to her from behind, I tossed the ball softly so it’d bounce of her back, and return to my hands. She turned around shocked, as she didn’t see that coming. Her face full of anger, disappointment, and somehow a slight grin, as she knew I had cleverly beaten her; but I knew she would want revenge.

Pepper
“Is Alan going to eat it?” I questioned Nicholas.
“Yeah, after lunch I think” Nicholas responded. I leaned my chair against the wall.
“Go to your book’s table,” Mrs. Gaudiano called. I stood up and headed for my table; I pulled a chair and sat down. Soon all the members of our group came except Alan. Alan came to my table, he looked shocked, shaking, his tongue curled up in a desert-dry mouth.
“Someone has water?” Alan hissed, his eyes crying and his hands full of pepper rubbing them.
“You ate the pepper?” I asked holding in my laughter.
“Do you have water?” he insisted.
“No,” I answered back letting my laughter spill. Everyone on the table started laughing with me.

Memoir Monday: Patience

I remember the time I realized that patience is an advantage. It was Christmas season, and I wanted this present badly. I kept asking for it again and again and again, until my mom told me that the more I insisted, the less chances were of me getting it for Christmas. So I stopped insisting, and started being more patient. When it was Christmas Eve, I got the present I have been asking for, but then was more patient and stopped.

That was the day I learned, that patience is a virtue.

Obama's inaguration

I entered the room, it was full with all the middle school. Alan, Brandon, and I were back from recess, and found ourselves with a crowd of students looking at the projected image of Obama.

"Their gonna shoot him" Alan said.

The image turned into a video, and everybody was silent. Obama was reading the same oath Abraham Lincoln had read when he went into office.

Obama said his final lines and everybody started cheering.

Memoir Monday: My First Time Playing Baseball

If you ever say the word summer your first thoughts would be, going to the beach, pool parties, and baseball. I would think that way too, except for the last one, until August. August was the first time I played baseball, real baseball, not the backyard catch game. I wasn’t good the first time. Ground balls would go between my legs, I would barely grace the ball when I batted, and fly balls would sail over my head. I didn’t give up because it was the activity I enjoyed the most. Now, after practice and dedication, ground balls rarely go by me, I put the bat on the ball consistently, and fly balls are destined for my glove.

This proved to me that any goal can be accomplished if you have dedication.
